Services and modules

Services are the set of basic entities within the platform that provide specific functionality.

Services are the specific functionalities oriented to the administration of a specific type of data. Some of them are already established from the moment the system is installed and others are added as required. Each of them is associated with a table in the database.

Examples of services include document management (document), product catalog (item), videos (video) and other services; apart from those installed by default as a service catalog (service), system managers (admin), system users (user) o system configuration (config).

Like the previous ones, they are associated to a table in the database, but their difference is that they are not autonomous, but their field of action is on a specific service.

The most common example is the management of service categories or the same subsystem administration.

EThese are the group of services and subservices grouped, that provide the complete functionality.

In the same module are added other elements like add-ons, libraries, business rules, dictionaries of idiomatic equivalents, icons, images, etc.
